Product Overview

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Meinl Percussion Pickup Cajon Box Drum Snarecraft Series. After spending some time with this instrument, I must say that it is an outstanding product. This cajon is made in Europe with 100 Baltic birch for both the body and frontplate, delivering a rich, deep, and balanced tone. The playing surface is designed to match up perfectly with the body for optimal sound and feel.

The rounded corners of the Baltic birch playing surface make for comfortable contact and give you precise sound with cutting slap tones and relaxed playing for longer sets of music. Additionally, this cajon is set up with Piezo pickups and a 1/4 jack, so you can easily connect it to an amplifier or PA system and control the tone and volume with knobs on the side panel. It also has a 1/4 link jack that allows you to link other Meinl passive pickup instruments through the cajon s system, eliminating the need for additional amps or outputs.

What I like most about this product is its versatility. It can fit into any setting due to its deep bass and cutting snare, making it great for open mic nights, houses of worship, or band practice. Its dimensions are 11 W x 19 H x 11 D so it s not too bulky plus, there are four solid silicone feet on the underside of the cajon to eliminate unwanted vibrations while protecting it from scratches on virtually any surface.

In my opinion, this product would be great for both beginners who are just getting into percussion as well as experienced players who want to add an extra dimension to their performances. Its craftsmanship is top notch and its sound quality is excellent definitely worth every penny! I highly recommend this product if you re looking for a high quality cajon that can take your music to the next level.
